“The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment that you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in Heaven, and will help bring everlasting peace on earth." - Mother Teresa of Calcutta
What is Eucharistic Adoration? The purpose of Eucharistic Adoration is to remind us of Christ’s presence in the Blessed Sacrament. By spending time with Jesus in adoration, we are made more mindful of Him and His presence with us throughout our day. It is a time set aside when the Eucharist is placed in a monstrance on the altar for us to see, pray and listen to our Lord—Jesus Christ. The St. Kenneth community Adoration Service begins at the conclusion of the Tuesday 9:00 AM mass and ends at 11:00 AM.
You are personally invited to join your fellow parishioners during this time of silence and prayer. Adoration is your personal, private time with Jesus Christ.
What do I do during Adoration? Adoration of the Eucharist is time we spend in silent prayer before Christ. You can read spiritual materials (some resources provided in the gathering space), write in a personal journal, speak silently from your heart to God, or just listen in contemplation of the mystery of the Blessed Sacrament. All silent prayer activities welcome. Kneeling or sitting is appropriate.
Please consider joining us every Tuesday any time following our 9:00 AM mass until 11:00 AM. If you have questions or are interested in supporting our St. Kenneth adoration ministry--such as one hour per month--contact:
